I have pinned the TS3 short cut to the task bar but obviously it is minimized in a fashion that does not allow one to mouse over the pinned shortcut and get a preview of the program that has been minimized. So I guess the question becomes, why does windows minimize TS3 in this fashion?
I am not a programmer so could not argue the point and will trust both your information on that. TS3 is minimising,you just need to tell win7 how to 'play'.Thank you & Morfi, I learn something new everyday. Are there any fixes planned for this as it annoying to not have the minimize and restore functions available. The client does not play well with Win7 Ult 64. I have tried this on several different computers with Win 7 Ult 64 with identical results. I don't know about other windows versions, but it does not work with Win7 Ult 64.
Sometimes the client will minimize itself, which means it disappears and then as always the only way to get it back is to kill the process and then restart the TS3 client from the short cut. I even changed the priority of the service and it still will not minimize and then be available to restore to visibility on the desk top. The TS3 client will not minimize to the task bar properly. The only way to have access to the client again is to shut down the client by opening the task manager then kill the process and restart the client. If you try and minimize TS3 client it disappears totally, it can not be restored from the task bar. I have tried all the different compatibility modes, Windows XP, Vista SP1,SP2 etc. I have selected the shortcut properties and applied "Run As Administrator" I have tried several things with the client.
I have the latest TS3 client running on Windows 7 Ultimate 64.Ĭlient Version 3.0.0-beta29 build 12268 and yes I did install the 64 bit version. I have read the forums and so far cannot find a solution for this.
